2010 Polo Bluetooth Connectivity

Featured Replies

How's it going? Long time since I've been on here. Just got a new shape Polo, 2010, SE model with a touch screen head unit with 6 CD changer built in. I'm trying to work out how to stream audio through Bluetooth. If I press the "Media" button, I have it listed as CD / SD / AUX / BT Audio, but only AUX is highlighted as there's no CD, SD card or Bluetooth device paired.

If I go to "Setup", the option saying "Activate Bluetooth Audio" is checked. But when I go to my phone and search for Bluetooth devices, it doesn't find the car. I've tried with an iPhone and a HTC One, but no luck.

So, my question is, how do I pair a phone with the car to get it to stream audio?

Oh ye, the car hasn't got handfree calling, and no steering wheel buttons.

Here's some pictures of the unit and menus:

I could be wrong but the bluetooth part might be a specific add-on module.

Take it the cars handbook doesn't have any pointers either?

Whats the radio model number?

I just typed in how to do it on google and there is quite a few YouTube videos on it, may be worth checking out
