VW service or garage?

Featured Replies

hey guys.

i only just bought my first car and being a bit paranoid and in-experienced with cars id like to have a quick service. Things like oil changes and spark plugs. more of checks than replacing etc

however i looked at a vw service and it is 150 quid. seems very steep

will standard garages (kwik fit, local garages etc) do things like this for cheaper

also looking to clean my throttle body and egr

£150 isn't too bad from a vw place. I would do it myself personally as its not hard but if you don't feel confident then by all means take it to a garage

What car do you drive?

2002 vw lupo 1.4s 16V

If your not confident enough to do it to your self then go back street garages they'll charge half the price.

where abouts are you

If your not confident then try and find a local vw specialist. VW tend to charge alot for hourly rate whereby specilaist will charge alot less.
