Not convinced they are an AFH.....isn't the 100BHP version an AUB?

Are you sure??? thought the engine codes were different and from what I've read (maybe wrong) its AFK???

It also looks as if you have no coolant in the second pic...

but i dont think they're an AFH code dude!

no its not.

Fail.

The 1.4 16v 100bhp in the 6n2 are AUB, AQQ, AFK & ANM according to elsawin :-)

Here's some snaps of my 16v it's only a 75brake model but still quick

It's has:

Full gti leather interior

Jom coilovers

Pipercross foam air intake

Calibre dubs 15x7.5

Smoothed boot lid

Gti spoiler

Alpine headunit

Gti grille

Gti splitter

Sony sub in my boot build

Alpine door speakers

Stage 5 Clifford alarm (savage piece if kit)

Also was an English car so I paid the vrt to put it on irish plates

At the minute I'm recovering my headliner, pillers and boot build in suede

Fail.

Yep - the 6n2 16v is a very different engine, virtually every part is different. The 6n2 never got the AFH engine. This is what an AFH engine looks like..

Have the whole interior finished now so will update my build thread with some pics soon :D

Surely just any 6n2 GTI is over 100bhp?

I've got a GTI. its a standard engine. Ran 124bhp on the Club polo RR day.

Are there really that few 100bhp 6n2s ? someone else on here must have one!

theres a few on here but they seem to be quite hard to come by tbh!

I used to sell them at a main dealer and they didnt produce a 6N2 100BHP

The 1.4 6N2's were 75BHP and 85BHP the only way to tell is the 85BHP has deeper sills and rear disks.

The GTi is 1.6 16v 125BHP

I've never seen a 6n2 85bhp but I have seen a 100bhp I think your wrong tbh
