well i can safely say that I fucking hate nightshifts... i done 4 last week and I'm doing 3 over the weekend coming up!

  • 2 weeks later...

i have been working night shifts for 6 years now!!

i start work around 8/9pm till about 6/7am in oxford street london.

you get use to it once you have been doing it for so long...lol

Nick keeps me awake with whatsapp

I've been working nights since the 1990s, never truly get used to it because I work days too. I like it. Sometimes i'm kept awake in the day by people but it's never been a big problem.

My hours mean I get four days off a week, so I can go away regularly, and I don't drive in rush hour, no stress, I don't understand how anyone can work office hours, that'd be horrible.

Self employment, I can work whatever 16 hours a day I want. Woke up at 4, so I've been planningy route out for the weekends jobs.

  • 1 month later...

Second night on a run of five, and I'm as bored as can be.

first night out of a set of 3 nearly done... i've already looked on every website in the entire world 3 times over and read every article on the daily mail's website.

sigh.

Tonight's gone well, since I found Blade Runner on the iPlayer anyway :-)

I still need to watch bladerunner! i've heard many good things but never watched it myself.

tonight is gonna go well for me. i've got a few episodes of breaking bad to watch and I'm just starting season 4 of dexter.

its good to think I'm getting pay and a third for this.

Last one tonight, then I get to go home.

Well I've officially finished that contract, but now I find myself doing an all-nighter catching on on paperwork :(

On the plus side though, just been to maccys. Abuse my body into starting work again!
