so, was driving to work on Friday up the M3 between junction 3 and 2 and was cruising along in the inside lane about 65 and along comes this absolute nice person in a matte black, lowered Seat Arosa decides to undertake me and cut me up.....now undertaking would usually get my gears grinding because if there was room to be undertaken then i shouldn't have been in the middle land however......the eagle-eyed of you may have noticed that I said I was in the INSIDE lane....that's right he undertook me on the HARD SHOULDER!

I even managed to catch up with him about 2 miles later so the move obviously didn't get him very far, and needless to say when i overtook him a few choice hand-gestures were sent his way.

The GF got a video of the car when we caught up with him so i have Reg plate and was reported online as a dangerous driver.

Why do people insist on driving like pillocks and giving modified car drivers everywhere a bad name?

Be great if you had a video on him actually doing it, if you get the date and time from video and roughly where about it was then phone the polo (101) and say you would like to report dangerous driving hopefully CCTV might of caught him.

I dunno if anything will come of it but a letter will go out to the registered driver warning him.

yeah its a shame that i didnt get a video of him doing it, it happened so quickly and was such a stupid move, that it rendered me a bit speechless!

not sure if there are any cameras on that stretch, might be since it is prone to slow moving traffic (could have traffic cams) but oh well, its reported so its up to police now

The hard shoulder is generally just full of shit. Stones, bits of tyre, its a horrible surface to drive on as it's not cleared by moving traffic.

it got me out of a few sticky situations with douche drivers when i point at the camera to show that it's all on film :p

Using the hard shoulder as an extra lane is one of the most idiotic things ever. Id have loved to block him on it and force him off at the next junction. Its people like that who need more than a warning letter from the plod as people who've broke down have been injured or killed by dickheads like that.

Working on preventing me from having anymore kids by the feel of it, but topping up my fitness in the process at least.

Back on topic, If it's any consolation, the older you get , the less you give a fuck and are more inclined to shake your head and let them get on with it.

I had someone today nearly drive into the back of an artic, then have a good go at driving into the side of me trying to prove that his 11-plate corsa was faster than my shitty old pickup.

The worst bit was, I wasn't even in a rush so I wasn't planting it.
