Few problems 2006 facelift

Featured Replies

I recently bought my 2006 facelift 1.2 polo, being a new owner I'm paranoid, however I have a few problems bugging me, first being engine error code 16555, (fuel trim - system lean (bank 1) or too lean (bank1) :P0171

really annoying me as I can't seem to find out what it is,

I've also got an annoying clicking sound when i push in the break when the engines on, however I'm not to sure of that's always been there :-p

Need to sort these out, before I can even think of doing to my car

And to end it all, is there any little things I can do to keep the car running perfectly e.g change spark plugs the cars done 65k miles.

the brake clicking sound that your hearing is that just when its pushed in slightly? if it is I'm pretty sure it does that to activate the brake lights at the back of the car

i also had the system too lean, but couldnt find a fix for it. but i just used a small diagnostic kit to erase the code, its came back on a few times and there should be a light on the dashboard about the exhaust light? this removes the light but if it keeps coming back, i would take it to a garage. i didnt find this to be much of a problem but it can be quite annoyiong.

just do what I do, if the lights not on, theres not gonna be a massive problem... engine wise, anyways. and just worry about it when it doesnt start or konks out!
