If i was not a parent i possibly would have doen something that i may later regret to these tossers. I'm trying to come up with things that i can do to get them back.

i had asshole neighbors who complained that i was causing a nuisance with my car fixing it, and coming home "drunk" (i worked nights at the time, and dont really drink, never mind drink and drive!) and complained about their kids because they kept letting themselves into my house and riding their bikes into my garage door (they were 5 ish) and unsupervised playing on the road.

so i held a jap meet outside their house at 3AM after work with a fair few Bee*R's and some Hondas.

never again did they complain, just shoot me a gaze of "sore looser"

strike while the irons hot, really bug them whilst they are hungover, pester them and ask them for really petty things like a cup of milk, some tomato sauce, and sugar.

You could always stop being so uptight and invite yourself round for a beer or 4? Its a Saturday night, live a little

We go out early on a Sunday and i'm going to make a real racket. The one neighbour works nights and i have always been considerate not to mow the lawn to early etc, but Monday morning its coming on at 8.30am!!

I had exactly the same problem loads of people loud music the works

They even had the music blaring while they weren't even in during the day we took to getting up early starting our cars and reving the balls if them cutting the lawn and turning my home cinema speakers round placing right against the wall and turning music up full blast then when we were sure they were awake leave it on a little then go in turn it off and go round and complian that really pissed them off I mean the dad of the daughter whose party it was almost exploded they did it again about a month later and exact same thing happened to them

After that they didn't learn so the next party we just called the cops and the guy who was leasing it to them then they were a lot more considerate

Did I mention they had a dog that used to sleep in the garden and at 3 o'clock would start barking its head off

Both have dogs who are just left in the garden all of the time!!!!!!!

Still awake - complete tossers i'm totally seething and i'm going to get my own back big time.

Definatly don't do anything rash my neighbour on the otherwise of the arseholes got the shit kicked outta him because there was so many of them and they were all pissed but seriously consider calling the cops as they will get them to at least turn the noise down

One thing my mate did was leave his car parked across his noisy neighbours drive then only when they were about to break his front door down go and move it let them out then park back across thier drive

This went on for about a week then they neighbour finally asked why and my mates had no problems since

Why would you start something to make things worse with the people you have to live next door to?

Why would you want it to be more awkward and possibly receive back worse than you give them?

Is this a common thing or not? You didn't realt mention them frequently having parties etc?

I have people round and make noise, probably pisses them off, but if they have people round and wake me up I don't complain, part of life, people have fun.

As annoying as it may be it happens, if you were really bothered about the noise phone the police

When I had my old flat the neighbour above me was a cock, music and parties I was ok with but he worked on/off shifts so one week he starts at 5 the next some time in the afternoon.

The weeks he started at 5 without fail he would blast music at half 3-4am and not care, the neighbours above him asked him politely to turn it down on many occasions as did I to no avail.

Complaint to the landlord... Nothing. Didn't really want to get police involved so what we (me and the other neighbours) ended up doing was pouring superglue in his front door lock (he always left his key in the inside of the door at night) so he couldn't open it turned the power off to his flat from the main control/fuse board thing which everyone had a key to. And both me and the neighbour above purchased some "pirate heavy metal" I think it's called and put the the cd's on full blast (I have a full speaker set up from when my brother did dj-ing so it goes crazy loud) and left them on repeat at 3am one day he was starting in the afternoons.

Safe to say he never played his music again after that!

It was a petty thing to do I know but I love sleep to much to not sort it out

I'm lucky (touch wood) neighbours on both sides are sound. When we rented an apartment the two people on the floors below were really loud and annoying. One worked split shifts, she'd come home really late and start banging and crashing around trying to clean up. The b1tch below her was a dosser, had rows with her b/f all the time and played really loud music quite often. She did'nt care about anybody else. I waited til we moved out then got my own back..

Maybe when you go away for a few days next you could make sure you burglar alarm goes off late at night or super early in the morning. Failing that, wait til you move and spray their grass with weed killer, draw a picture of a nice big c0ck and balls

I'm a decent neighbour, i have young kids, don't drink, don't have a stereo, my house is well cared for and i work full time.

The neighbours are plain and simple inconsiderate assholes which is why our society is in a mess to many people not thinking about others and just themselves.

You wanna try living next to our neighbours, we had the police down several times

bloke was a bellend, ex army, thought he was of some sort of importance and could do what he liked. things like 'oh, its 2am lets put a shelf on the wall'

this was a regular accurance, and not just us, they live end terrace, 3 houses my way were also woken up by them. hence the police having to do something, they had 3 people complaining

think youself lucky, we still have to live next to um several years on. not a word is spoken lol

I've got an asian family one side of me, and they literally just have no respect, they make so much noise, and cant control their kids. one of them even let their baby crawl accross my fucking car bonnet!

Parents have an ex army meathead nexy door to them, moans to the council about everything, from kids playing on the playing field to my mums car exhaust noise due being called into work at all hours. My polo was a sore point in general.

At the moment the house is being re done and council get daily complaints about work noise and builders vans.

He has no idea what's instore when its finished as the garage is getting a new built in compressor setup, just a shame that the only place I can place it happens to be against their wall....

Not really a lot you can do about it, police wont care and anything you do will just escalate things further. I don't have any problems with either of my neighbours. Ok, the one does the odd bit of noisy DIY on a sunday morning and lets the kids run around screaming at stupidly early times occasionally but its very rare. Never felt the need to complain. They have complained about my straight through exhaust on my last polo, but nothing I could do about having to go to work at 5 in the morning.

I think that as long as you have tried all the polite/decent ways first (speaking to the culprit about it and explaining what the problem is, police/council/landlord if it gets that far) and there's no change even after speaking to them a few times, then sometimes the only way is to retaliate and stoop to there level which sometimes does make them realise what they have been doing... No point putting up with it/losing sleep/getting stressed about it just because your the better person or whatever

If you just straight in with revenge then that ain't right but sometimes it takes a little bit of "persuasion"

Think yourself lucky really.. My Gran's 68 and her neighbors think it's acceptable to soak her with their hose when she's doing her garden.. To run up past the side of her house and into her back garden just to be annoying.. That one really gets me because I've got my car parked up by the side of her house as well.. They let their dog shit in her garden, set bonfires when she's still got her washing out and don't bother to even mention it to her.. They throw their rubbish over the fence and play loud music until whatever time in the morning.. They also like to stick the washing machine on at 3/4am and let it bang against the wall, that drives me crazy. Lived at my Grans house for 3 months and never have I wanted to murder a whole family quite so much in my life. They're quite fond of parking over her driveway, or juuuuust by it. which means she would have to reverse all the way down the street (its a cul-de-sac)..

Mostly when our next door neighbor has a party we just go can you be quite now it's late and they go okay and go inside. Our other next door neighbor on the other hand has the tv up full blast all night because she falls asleep in front of it bless her
