Hi jut bought my first polo 6n it's the 1.6 glx model 96 reg

100% standard

Few bits to sort like tracking think the front wheels need balancing as there is a wobble on the steering wheel,

Some bits of rust to get sorted.

Oh and a clutch cable to replace as it snapped on me today.

Anyway just wondering if I could get some advice on suspension ie coil overs or lower springs. Pros and cons. Looking at doing a few mods to it so if anyone knows any must do's to improve the experience please tell

Cheers peeps look forwards to getting lots of advice from you all

Oh also the passenger side electric window will not go up with out persuasion it gets 3/4 of the way and slows down to stop. Any idea ????

Welcome

You will be needing coilovers to back your name up. Lower springs will not be worth it as you will want it lower and lower every time you do it.

As for the window squirt some washing up liquid down the side to lubricate it see of this makes a difference

Hello and welcome! :)

personally with suspension you get what you pay for so buy the best you can afford! :)

Awesome i will try that tomoz.

Unfortunatly inwont be able to go as low as i would like on the polo due to where i live I'm hoping 15s with a drop off around 45mm ish will leave me enough clearence.

Its a bit of severe drop between tarmac road to graval drive.
