Right, so my polo project has been sat in a garage for the past 2 years and I think it's about time to rid of it.

I spent a lot of time and money on it and there are some decent parts that could definitely see some proper use from someone.

If I have no offers for this car as it stands by the end of the month, I will post another thread on here and I will take off any parts that people want, then scrap the shell.

Originally it was an 8v but now has a 16v lump in it. I spent a whole summer building up an AFH only to complete the build and find out that it must have previously had a cam belt snap and the person I bought it off be dishonest about it.

I then bought Harry's (Haz911 I think) 16v engine as he's gone down the 20vT route, to replace my damaged one and it worked perfectly, pulled really well and didn't miss a beat. He said it proved 123bhp when he had his set up.

As it had originally been an 8v, a friend of mine converted the original 8v loom to run the 16v which worked but there was one intermittent problem which we could not sus. The revs would drop and just idle even when in gear and just driving along normally, it would then would do it for another few miles and happen again. I couldn't use it as a daily so out came the 8v loom, and I purchased an entire 16v loom off of someone breaking a car on here. The 8v loom was cut out, and the16v loom didn't get fitted and has been sat in a box on the passenger seat since

Long story short, I didn't have the time or funds to keep chucking at this poor little car so I bought another daily and this has now just been sat in a garage as I have moved away to University.

a few parts I know it has:

1.4 16v AFH - Had approx. 103,000 miles on it when I got it off Harry, and I don't even think I covered 100 miles since owning it :(

8v gearbox - unknown milage but worked perfectly fine on the 8v and 16v

16v fuel pump

matching 16v ECU, transponder ring & chip

complete 16v loom still in box - untested as I never fitted it but it came straight out of a working valver

chopped up 8v loom, could be of use to someone maybe?

Tuning Art Coilovers - copper greased when initially installed but haven't had a look at them since

16v front and rear bumpers

FK de-badged grille

welded boot recess's - handle and badge but left in brushed on primer

glass wiper blank I got on a group buy on here - not the usual plastic jobby

smoothed wings - side repeaters welded and smoothed out, but in need of a skim of filler and a repaint

it does has an aftermarket central locking kit installed with a fob, but this may be removed.. please ask

interior isn't great at all as it has been sat for a while it looks a little mouldy. The seats weren't anything special anyway and I think the headlining/pillars have been removed.

Open air motor used to work fine, but the roof itself has the usual small tears with some home repairs made to it.

I had the rear turrets, floor pan, and a chunk of the sill welded up before the engine swap to get it through mot and so I think the body should be sound as it's been in a garage.

standard sport raidar 5 spoke wheels - set of 5 though. not sure on tyre tread, I think the front 2 have alignment wear on them.

May sound like an odd request, but has it got leccy windows? if so how much for a pair or 2 pairs of plugs with a good amount of wiring on them (the ones that plug into the window switches)
