for reference, FT is not finger tight :lol:

Don't FT probably strip it:

Correct term is tighter than loose, looser than stripped

oil drain plug standard torque for M14

10 FT-LB into aluminium

15 FT-LB into cast iron

my wrench starts at 25Nm

Thought FT tight might be NSFW.

It doesn't need to be particularly tight, a reasonable pull with a 19mm spanner will squash the soft copper washer enough to ensure a good seal.

Yeah but a reasonable pull to jamie would b like tony doing it as tight as possible

What i tend to do now is use 2 fingers to finish it up at the end of the spanner.

You can always tighten it up more.
