MK3 Polo Coupe 1.3 Mint Green - Modifications

Featured Replies

Hi there, I have my mk3 Polo for sale. The car is in good general condition, suspension is solid, gear box and clutch feel good, it pulls well through all gears but it is leaking oil from cylinder 1 due to a blocked oil breather. The leak is not serious, I have owned the car the car for 4 months and have not yet had to fill up the oil. It is a real shame to brake this but is the only way I will get any sort of money back for it so I am planning to take all the mods off it this Friday and anything anyone else requested and then scrap it at the weekend. If there is anything else you want off the car not listed below just ask and I will give you a price.

Would you only sell front strut brace? What one is it? Could you post a pic of it please.

Some more pictures below including strut brace as requested, I would sell the braces individually for £30 delivered each. Also a picture of the only other mark on the body work which is a scuff on the rear bumper, passanger side.

if so how much for rear brace and ged bar collected have a picture of the rear brace ???

  • Author

Can get pics if needed, it,s the better kind that bolts onto the body of the car not the top of the shock and it's the same finish as the front brace. Will do £45 cash collected for ged bar and rear brace.

You have a PM :)

Where abouts are you pal? Is the exhaust a complete system up to the manifold? Obviously not inc the manifold. Could i have some better pics possibly?

  • Author

Hi there, it is a complete exhaust from the manifold/downpipe back. I'm based on Kingswinford DY6. Will try get some better pictures for you.

i have got the wings doors and the lip under the lights

Photos of exhaust as requested. For some reason the chap at powerflow welded a 3rd hanger onto the rear box when he did my decat (I think he cocked up the decat and the exhaust was catching) but both the original hangers are there and it will bolt straight on.

alright bud would the chipped ecu add any performance on a bog standard polo??

  • Author

Yes it would. It is designed for a standard car but obviously on such a small engine it won't be huge gains.
