1992 Polo Breadvan

Featured Replies

hi I am new to this forum and to VW's

I have recently bought a 1992 VW Polo Fox with just over 6500 miles on the clock

i know nothing about these or how much they are worth etc so any information would be great! i bought it to play about with as it was only going to go to scrap.

The previous owner had sent it off for some restoration work however after a year and a half it hadn't been done so that's how i got my hands on it..

This is how i got it..

Thanks :) yeah I don't really know what I want to do with it as soon as I have some wings ill be lowering it.

Such a shame it went in for 'restoration work' at such a low mileage :(

If in doubt, get the spray paint out!

Talking of doubt though, I don't believe that's only done 6,500 miles.. Unless you have extensive service history - it was way too easy to clock cars back then!
