FK price adjustment just as I go to buy..

Featured Replies

Ok so i bookmarked a set of the ak street coilies today in work to buy when my pay came through, about half an hour ago they were £123 inc vat so was more than happy to pay.. anyway my pay came through about 10 mins ago, clicked on the bookmark.. BOOM £158?! Unfortunate timing, plus I'm a little pissed as I don't think I can get them now as I also have tax and insurance to pay this month which doesn't leave me a lot of room for spends being an apprentice.. typical :( anything I can do? doubt it but worth a try, also emailing them is a no go as the last time i did that I got a pretty short reply with terrible english that I could barely make sense of

just emailed them, will update this post once I've had a reply.. they have a price-promise on their site so its worth a try

Unlucky with the timing mate, but good luck with the mail

Strange how its exactly £25 more. Be interesting to find out why the price has increased... wether its down to materials costing more or if they just fancied an extra £25. My bets are on them just feeling greedy.

Other stuff has gone up in price too, there was a right headlight unit for 22 quid and thats gone up to 35.. I know most places do a price-promise, halfrauds for example, not many people know but they do a 7 day policy which if the price goes up you can still pay the lower price within 7 days of it going up (used to work there) having worked there though I still know how much everything is a rip off even if they try and make it look cheap

Ok so no response so I'm going to try and give their hotline a call after work, the one thats open from "9-17pm"

Gutted really.

Next time I go to get petrol and it's more than it was in the morning I'm gonna kick off.

£150 is hella expensive for a complete set of coilovers I guess :|

^^

Prices go up and down all the time do you go shopping and complain that the bread has gone up 20p since last week.

Nope that's right.

I'm not complaining about it, yeah its only 25 quid but if I can save myself 25 quid then surely its worth asking? Yeah 150 is cheap for coilovers, I'll still get them.. just saying its unfortunate timing how it changed in the 20 mins I was waiting for my pay to come through

Sods law really
