Hi Guys and Girls!

I'm Chris, I'm 21 and i'm from Worcestershire. This is my first VW and only the second car i've ever owned. I do have a little experience on car body work and other stuff but i probably will seek advice on here sooner or later.

So I bought 'Peter' back in february and all I've been doing recently is just trying to get it looking nice. I've had a few niggles with colour matches on paint that WILL be fixed but other than that its going very well! Peter passed his mot with no advisories but i originally bought him as a non runner. 1 driveshaft later and he lives!

This is how i bought him back in Feb

Not too many problems with rust, just typical places (arches, sills, door shuts)

I got to work on him and 6 months later peter now looks much better! Rust has disappeared off most of the car, a good wash, BBS RX in gold with Nankang 155/55/r14 tires, 60mm/50mm AP Suspension. I'm keeping it subtle but a Weber is going on soon as well as a 421 manifold and a new middle section.

The photos definitely make the colour match look much worse!

Chris :-D
