no i have not sold my car..

over past month or so in what free time i have i have bean bulding a garage at my house MY SELF.

i work in the construction industry so i do no what i am doing and getting things free and cheap has helped.. like my double glazed window wos free from a house i wos demolishing.

its 3.9m wide and 4.8m long so enuff room for my car and room to work on it ( cood get to polos in at a push)

i made it out of timber because i dont like concret ones because thay are cold and damp and a well looked after wood one will last just as long.. plus i dont nead planing permission..

started with the concret floor.

then started putting up the kit and putting the cladding on.

then made the doors and put roof on

then started putting glass wool in the walls (all old stuff removed from homes befor demolition) and run the cables for lights and plugs and then putting up the in side walls.

thats as far as i have got the now eny way. still lots to do.. :-D

Are you going to dry line it for fire protection??

Looks good mate, my supervisors in the middle of doing a very similar thing for his Lotus; for reasons you mention regarding planning permission, ease of construction etc

Nice, did you use a GEN1 mix for the base? I used to work in the Construction Industry (finance) so I know a bit of jargon!
