Renault Kangoo (My Daily)

Featured Replies

Thought I'd share with you lot my daily. Not quite sure why it ended up how it did. I just bought it as a scrapper about 18 months ago, re-conned and fitted another engine & box. And it kinda stemmed from there.

Mods list is literally endless. SO much work went into getting the stance/camber etc. It's running 172 80mm front shocks and springs, once fitted into the Kangoo, it's the same as having a 120mm drop due to the original shock / spring length, and weight diesel of engine combo. Rear end is on the torsion bar, I've fitted custom rear hubs courtesy of Gaz56 (From here, one of my buddies), with a 5degree negative camber (adjustable) shim fitted.

Front camber is done by slotted hubs.

Clio 172 brakes all around. Megane F7R coupe wheels, Scarab Green Clio 172 leather seats fitted, Williams steering wheel and gearknob etc.

I really like these lowered on wheels, but not a fan of the bonnet bra, sun strip or roof rack as it could look so clean without them

When i saw that first pic i thought you had a set of michelinman wheels on it.

me no likey :(

Good little vans these, my brother abused an old British Gas one for ages, and all that ever went wrong was the accelerator cable came off (check the ends, the clip's a really fragile plastic arrangement from what he said).

Cheers for the comments. I like it because it's different. Every time I go to a car meet, all I ever see is Lupos, and Polos, which all look identical.

It's nice to break the mould sometimes. :)

Not heard of Michelinman wheels, but will have a look. They sound cool!
