has anyone got the new iPhone 5s yet?
if you have - what's your verdict on it?

in two minds if I should get one on my upgrade...or carry on using the iPhone 4 !

i was gonna change to s4 but have had an iphone for 3 years and found it hard to make my mind up and change over!

may wait awhile as I'm sure the will have few issues when they are first released.....

I took the iphone rose tinted glasses off ages ago. Since having a H T C One X I wouldn't have another iphone in a hurry.

Looking to the Sony now though.

been looking at at the z1 - quite an amazing phone!

the hype on the iPhone is not as great than previous.

looks the same as the 5 - just added fingerprint recognition.

may pop along to a phone shop and play around with few of these toys....

I have the original note and its the shittest thing i have ever used. I doubt i will be buying a samsung again.

At the same time I'm not a sheep so aint bothered about iphones

I got the S4 and haven't got a bad word to say about it, does everything you'd expect it to do well and a lot of cool shit you'll never have a use for

I'm prefer to buy a phone on its own merits rather than buying it because its made by a certain manufacturer. Falling into that trap isn't good, I've got a mate who buys all the latest apple stuff without even looking at what else is on offer from other companies, if it isn't apple its shit. He can and will chat absolute bollocks for hours about his new phone if you bump into him around upgrade time

Loved my H T C One X, as I said in the previous mobile phone topic.

Lost it, mrs didn't order insurance so that's the end of that for now, whilst I'm point from moving house.

Currently using a two year old Samsung Galaxy mini, its slow and fidgety , very tedious, very annoying but its a freebi e so I can't complain.

Always been a Sony Ericsson/Sony fanboy... however i went for a S4 this time round and its faultless. Don't know why you would ever want an iphone when you can have an S4 for less and its better in every way

Quicker, more memory (SD card slot), better battery, more versatile (andriod), bigger screen, better camera, cheaper, less wank hype.
Why would you get an iphone other than to be 'cool'??

Dont understand the apple thing, never will. Yes they were great before but now andriod owns more of the market.. and for a very good reason. Apple relies on gullible idiots to make money.

most of the people I know swear by iPhone and do not believe that any other phone is better -

not my opinion though as i have had my iPhone 4 for 3 years and don't think iphone is worth the going into at the moment.

I think after looking at many clips on YouTube I am moving closer to the Sony z1 although the htc one has many good features but the new z1 tops them all!!

Z1 looks really good. if i felt i could have waited for a little longer i would most certainly have had the z1.
Just the fact that my ArcS was just useless (freeze trying to make a phonecall and keybaord kept crashing so i couldnt even use it as a phone, let alone for other things) so i didnt have the patients to wait.

Waterproof too, some people see that as pointless but when you actually think about it... being able to text in the rain and stuff is just so handy.
Dropping it down the toilet just the lols...
Putting it in your pint at the pub and watching people go out of their minds....

Iv got a 4s and will probably switch to a 5s soon as due an upgrade, iPhones have a lot of shit things like non expandable memory, don't support flash etc, but I'm happy with current one and don't see the need to change really.

There are a lot of good phones out now, isn't really a great deal of difference between them anyway apart from cost lol.

I'm a massive android fanboy, have owned a HTC since the G1, but I was almost tempted to switch to the 5s to try out iOS and then I saw the price. Apple can literally go shove the 5s up their arse for that price.

Looks like it's going to be the HTC One for me!

S4's the best phone out imo, I've got a 4S and will probably upgrade to the 5S next year purely because it's just easier for me..

that would be the only reason i would change to iphone the fact that it would easier to switch over....

htc one has been getting good feedback - only thing here is that they have not updated anything on the htc since it was released and the z1 tops both htc and 5s...

i was looking at a clip of the z1 being used under water - quite amazing!

has many features and the screen looks wicked - will go on saturday and have a feel of the phone myself and more than likely may consider getting that on my upgrade.

if anyone has any of these phones - z1 or 5s let us know how they are. my brother in law has the htc one and will say it grabs the eye more than the 5s!!

The thing with Iphones they all basically look the same, good phones just nothing stands out, yeah the 5c will but still haha, I've got an Xperia Z1 now and i tell you what its amazing, i've got it on a 4gee tariff unreal how quick it is, Its got a 2.2 ghz proccesor,2gb ram and 16gb internal memory, 20mp camera!!

And a smart watch 2 hahahah!!

Bit of a touchy one id say, nearly went bust.

S4 is on similar specs to the z1.
Both better, specs wise than the iphone.

my phone is quicker than both my laptop and pc lol!!

Much as I like the htc, the camera on it is pretty poor. Yeah, it takes a pretty picture, but there's no resolution to it.

I'm thinking about a z next, there's some nice deals on it now the z1 is out, and i've always been a bit of a sony whore.

I've got the 5s and it's the bollocks so far.

Had no issues apart from me dropping it and scuffing the alloy edge (had the 4s before and the alloy damages far easier - but I suppose that's expected.)

It's really quick and the fingerprint stuff isn't as much of a gimmick as I first initially thought, it's actually really handy (excuse the pun)

well i ended up getting the sony z1....

been using for about 3 weeks now and its a wicked phone - the iphone feels like a cheap toy in my hand compared to the sony z1 !!
