Featured Replies

Good evening all, my name is Adam and I live in Gosport Hampshire. I didn't forsee myself on here when I woke up yesterday morning but through blind luck I have bagged myself a little polo as a daily.

I went to look at and drove away with this littl beauty last night.

She only has 95000 miles and is a 4 speed 1.0, and to be honest I bought it because I don't remember ever seeing one. I had been on the look out for a Bread van style mk2 but when this came up I had to have it.

Looks in good condition man, you leaving it standard?

Hi Rado

That's looking a nice ride you've bagged yourself there.

Loons are where it's at, hardly see any on the road these days.

I'd just give it a good sevice, spend a hour clearing out all dead leafs and crap out of bulkhead area, take battery out to check for rust, flush your cooling system out and get your anti-freeze sorted for winter and get timing belt changed if you haven't got definate proof of it being done recently.

Then go out and enjoy it :D

Thanks guys, I have a list of jobs that I want to do:

- Cam belt

- Repaint wheel arch trim and bumpers

- Get some of the engine parts powder coated and steam clean the bay

- A damn good clean, polish and wax

- As stated I'm going to change the coolant

- Bleed the brakes through with new fluid and check the brakes over.

I'm probably going to leave it pretty standard but may invest in a set of wheels
