I've been looking at a 1.8 sirocco gt and compairing to on insurance its £200 more expensive than a 1.9 205 gti pug

anyone got any reason why this would be so

Because up until about 4 or 5 years ago, they were the scally car of choice.

Great cars, I miss mine, sold it about 4 or 5 years ago come to think of it.....
