Thanks for the lovely welcome.

We've had her for about three months, but she was hiding in our lockup until about a month ago when she came out to play.

Before her we had a 67 beetle so she's practically modern for us

She looks Beautiful, so clean, an exact clone of my old one, what curves. Going to have this shot of BUF as my desk top.

So glad you've brought her out to play!

You take good care of her now.

Sold mine after 12 years of loyal service and 187,000 on the clock to a guy who'd just past his test.

Hope she went quietly in her sleep and didn't suffer

There's some good guys on here who really know their MkII's (one who springs to mind is derskine, he's got a white bready)

But if you want to ask a question, have a good look in the FAQ sections first as people get bored and don't bother to answer the same questions over again.

Great to hear from you all!

If you saw the state Buf was in when we got her you would not believe it.

She was sooooo mucky....she lived on a farm see and she must have liked to play with the animals cause she had about an inch of mud allover her engine, and her insides were so full of straw I think the sheep had been sleeping in her.

We took the interior out completely and gave her a good scrub allover, then swapped it all for the black one she has now.

It makes a striking contrast the black and white we think.

She's not perfect but she does take a good picture.
