Polo Estate

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

I have just joined the club today. I have had my lovely Polo Estate for two years. As I use her for work I need to sell her soon and get a newer car but it breaks my heart. I love my Polo and was determined my first car (at the age of 52!!) would be the estate.

I had not realised they were unusual and am so sad they do not make them any more.

My anxiety is I want her to go to a home where she will be cherished. I don't want to just sell her to someone who doesn't care about her and will run her into the ground.

She needs a couple of dings taken out of her and the glove box lock replaced. My mechanic says she will need her undercarriage resealed next year. But she runs like a dream, revelling in an occasional long distance drive having taken me to Devon and back to Hertfordshire once and down to the Kent coast half a dozen times.

What is the best way to ensure she goes to a good home? Is there anyone out there who like to spend a little to bring her back to pristine and then keep her warm and loved?

I hope to hear from someone....

Thank you
