Anyone in MK get together? Would like to see what other people are doing with their cars and get to know some new people, had a bit of a break from the cars and want to start getting back into the meets, shows and cruises :)

A few of us go to kens diner on a Tuesday evening it's down the a6. But not really any meets in mk though

I know it's not local to you but there is a vw meet in Finedon every Tuesday night, usually gets a good turn out unless it's raining!

The only one I know from mk is the MK cruise on Sunday nights.... Bit to chavvy for me though

Yeah the same as Matt said mk is a bit chary only good when it's a bank holiday or a local show has been on then most of the top cars come out

It's a shame that there aren't any meets, once a month we take the golf out but other than that its dull round here, there's a few good cars about that would make a good get together, so was hoping someone had got a few lads together :/

And agreed, cruise is too chavy for me, been there, got bored lol

The problem with on here is that people say they will turn up but then on the day only the normal people do like we has a meet at kens had 15 people say the will come only 5 did and 2 of them are always there so only 3 extra and one was me. So organising something is hard there's a few other meets that happen in mk though lowdown uk will be holding there 3rd annual meet in a few weeks time at mk stadium

Yeah, I used to get that all the time getting people together, I know a few lads that might be up for a meet but haven't seen anyone in a while, is the problem, I remember seeing a shed load of cars there a few weeks ago, will have to go down there and see who still goes out :)

Might be an idea to organise a meet, MK has some really nice cars, and loads of polos lol so wouldn't be short of people!

It sucked not because chavs or anything some half decent cars 2 Nissan gtr s and an r8 but the coppers were given tickets out for anything so left. Not that there anything wrong with my car

Yeah I've noticed they like to sit around more now when driving home, no point in risking them being tossers :/

think we should atleast try and organize one in mk and see what turns up , would be good to meet new people around mk

I'm on that idea, even something monthly would be better than nothing, there's polos galore here and yet no-one's thought of avoiding the cruise and doing their own thing :/

If you organise one on a week end then I'll come bit off a travel but monthly I could do that. But like I said organasing something is easy but people actually turning up is a different matter

just dont know where in mk would be a good place to hold a meet

I'm thinking of doing something, we go to a couple of meets but there's always like three people there so might be a good idea to bring a few groups together, that ways there'll always be good sized group

And finding a place is gunna be a pain :/

There so places all time depending really mk stadium is good as long as there's no match on. In holy the hockey stadium/ railway place. Tescos morrisons car park as long as evening kind of time

Yeah the stadium would be great its just a pain to work around the footie
