In my second year of driving and i'v always wanted a mk2



So i picked up a 5dr mk2 golf Driver (1.6) for £400!

Removed Engine

Started getting to work on the bay

Primed and painted

Bought loads of goodies from E38! :)

Wheels on

Engine strip, paint and rebuild

Thread detached from the sump so weld fixed it nicely :)

New grill!

Rocker cover was shitty so, prepped and a few coats of primer, flat it back and then paint it!

Please either fit small bumpers on it or fit the full big bumper arch, sill and door trims.. looks tidy though for £400

Various other bits painted mount,

slam panel,

fan cover,

Rocker cover

and Sump.

Also prepped wing ready for wet flat and re prime and paint.

Thats the intention! just trying to get it on the road and engine and bay looking and running mint.

Then i can worry about the outside of the car :)
