Right guys this may seem dumb but I'm in need of a little help from you guys with this.

Basically I'm looking to change my front end form 9n to 9n3 fancy a nice change for show season next year

So i've looked around for some 9n3 bumpers and 9n3 headlights etc, BUT here is where I'm confused... Do i need to just replace bumper and lights? or do i need to invest myself in some new wings to? or are they the same? I understand that 9n3 have indicators placed into the mirrors not the wings I'm not worried with this just the fact of the sheer fit with the light shape into the front of the wing if you understand what i mean?

Also does anyone know if i would need any different fittings for the bumper? (just wondering as when I had my corsa c that pre to facelift needed some cheap fittings for the bumper)

hi mate i was considering doing this swap on my girlfriends car a while back and had a look into this and to do the whole job you need the whole front end from a donor car you need the wings, bonnet, bumper, headlights and the crash bar behind the bumper and if your car has air con i believe you need to have the front end from a car which has air con too and then u need to consider having all the panels the same colour too for this i was planning on plasti dipping the car

Was about to say, its like doing any front end swap. mk4 Golf-Bora (Bolf-Gora) mk3 Golf-Vento. Mk2 Golf-Vento. All the same, whole front end is needed :)

Hmmmmph :/ would take a good amount of cash :/ pricing it up dont know id be better of just getting a 9n3 and sell the 9n if i carried on wanting one :/
Dont get me wrong I like my 9n cause its smoothed front recess and boot is smoothed but seeing a few 9n3 gti front ends smoothed just looks so different.
Ah well winters coming time to save and plan

As everyone else has said, you need full front end mate.

Wings/lamps/grill/indicators/bonnet/bumper & bar/slam panel.

Look for a rear ended 9N3 !

Try Stevens VW Dismantlers or even u pull it.
