I'm aware that for some competitions bla bla you have to have a rollcage that is certified/approved for use ect?

But what if you get a company to make you a custom one? Can you like get it inspected or something and approved?

Or do you have to buy one which is from a known brand like safety devices or whatever?

Depends what usage too I think mate.

I know that if you order them off certain companies but fit yourself, they can sen some sample parts which you weld yourself then send back and they check to see if it's good enough or not.

Yeah mine will be more trackday focused, but i was just thinking if i ever wanted to enter a hillclimb event or something in the future i would potentially need an approved cage.

Has to be made out of a certain spec of material,and fitted to the blue book standards. Not sure on hillclimbing but for example my golf gti championship car is only allowed a 6point bolt in cage.
