So I just picked up a tow bar on eBay for the polo I'm slightly confused on how it fits do I need to cut some metal off the body from under the bumper? As I can't see how it would bolt on any other way the bar in question is this one:

All the ones I have seen have needed a sectorn cutting away. There should be a template included with it to show how much needs cutting as it's hard gauge.the link isn't working for me, but as I say most 90% need some alteration to the bumper.

As. for the electrics side depending on the quality of the kit it may come with Vw connectors that don't need any splicing and just connect to the rear light clusters, but alot of them don't and come with bare wires but these should be colour coded
