that looks lovely like the colour.

I'm in year 5 on my squareback, I keep adding more spec stuff to it instead of just getting it mobile again then adding bits after.

well done, bet your chuffed can play with it again. :D

That's a long time working on a car. My brother has been working for nearly 3yrs on a beetle but not close to being on road.

That's not continuous work! In that time I also got a degree, played in a band and relocated to work in London! Life gets in the way!

My Dad has been working 10 years, on and off, on his Ford Pop. 2ltr engine, auto, Pinto head. He sold it a few years back and the guy left it sitting so he bought it back again a year later. So close to getting finished now even though he snapped his foot beginning of this year. Trooper

I'm approaching the 5 year mark with my G40, I keep changing plans and buy lots of shiney bits for it instead of just buying the bits I need to get it going.

Well done on the Mk1, looks great :)

Mines been a rolling project for ten years, but that doesn't really count. Sometimes I considered it to be finished when I liked it how it was, but they're never finished..

MK1 looks great, I nearly bought one in 07 when mine needed a new shell, I decided to buy this one instead, I felt I made the wrong choice for a while but the grass is always greener..

the death of the AAV saw the 3F lump go in and finish it off really. it may get coilivers as a treat, really want to get it on a rolling road and find out what its making
