Make:
Volkswagen
Model:
Polo 1.4
Year/Reg:

2000 (W)
Mileage:

130,000
MOT:

October
Tax:

SORNED
Good points:

  • Coilovers (PhilJ jobbies) which are currently set up nicely and well greased
  • No Advisories on last MOT
  • Hawk Remote Central Locking with 2 fobs - properly wired in by myself, not hacked up the loom!
  • Red paint work comes up to a brilliant shine when washed and waxed
  • Cambelt and water pump done 20k ago (receipts and have checked and it's all clean)
  • Lots of receipts for work carried out over the last 10 years
  • Serviced it last week of April inc oil, filter, fuel filter, air filter (3 services in my ownership)
  • 2 keys
  • Have a stubby ariel as well as original (radio doesn't work very well with stubby)
  • Space Saver Spare
  • Have recently replaced both door handles and upgraded the spades so hopefully will be stronger than the originals
  • Front bumper re-painted recently with smoothed plate recess (cost me £200 and recess was done with fibreglass)
  • Have 2 grilles, one body coloured and one black with black badge
  • Have modified the cup holder/tray to be double cup holder
  • Genuine Team Heko wind deflectors

Bad points:

  • Body work is stone chipped in a few places (mainly bonnet and wings)
  • plasti-dipped wing mirrors aren't great but they are flash red underneath so could easily return
  • Front seats could do with a good shampoo as are a bit grubby. No rips or tears though. Rears are great condition!
  • No Service Book
  • Sound like front wheel bearing needs replacing
  • Clutch release bearing is noisy when cold but the clutch itself is still smooth and doesnt slip.

Have bought a new car which I am picking up next Friday so dropping the price to reflect short tax.

£600 on mk2 steels

thinking of keeping the stereo so could possibly come to a cheaper price if you're happy to leave it behind.

Have a xtron 7" flip out that could go with it....it is working but will need an aerial adaptor to get radio working.

Also have a few sets of wheels and i haven't yet decided which ones i want to keep so again, just ask!

BBS RD 15x7 2 good tyres 2 on limit

G60 Steels 15 x? all good tyres

sport radars 13 x5? all good tyres

Bargain for someone

Still available, car is now un-insured so will have to SORN it.

Its being stored safely in my garage so buyer will have to come and collect it either at own risk or with a trailer.

Car currently doesnt have a stereo but as stated above I have an xtron single DIN 7" flip out and a Blaupunkt Helsinki 220BT head unit.

Have also got a set of 15" G60 Steels

I'm sure we can make a deal on any of the above.

If i don't have any interest in the next month i will strip for parts. it's got a good gearbox and pedal box so must be worth something!

How much for the 7" flip out

And g60s?

This still for sale?

right, had a few inquiries who get me to drop down price but then stop replying after I reduce the price so I have dropped this to £400 as I want it out of the garage.

Car is now SORNed, but MOT until October.

will not go any lower than this, would rather break than go lower.

really want a new interior for my Caddy so want this gone!!
