Due to a change of plans (new project car :P) I'm no longer using the bottom end of the 1.4 Golf ABD lump I have sat in my garage, so it's up for sale

These are a great upgrade for 1.3 engines including the GT as they increase the capacity, and thus torque.

From what I can tell it's in decent nick. Some rusty deposits from the coolant, looks like it may have been run with very weak coolant mix. I'm no expert, but the bores look in good nick and nothing wrong with the pistons. I was told it was running well when removed, but I bought it already removed from the car. Turns over nice and smoothly. Could do with a clean up if you want it to look good.

I do also have the breather pipe from the bottom.
