Cem or ahz code from a mk2 or mk3. There is no specific diesel mk2/3 gearbox

6Ns had 085 gearboxes, too.

085 is that rod and cable clutch

1.9d is a big block in the 6n, in which case its likely to be an 020 type gear box. Starter motor in different place.

Does the petrol bellhousing not mount up to the 6n 085 diesel gearbox to mount to a regular small block?

6n still uses an 085 box on the 1.9 D but it's very long geared. Here's some codes: CWT, DCH, DCT, DED, DXF, DXG, DXQ

The mk3 with the 1.4 D used the 8P/CEG gearbox, 1.3D in the mk2 used an AHD (GT box) the Seat Terra van with the 1.4 D used the AHZ or CEM (1.05 5 speed)

got a chc from a mk3 golf diesel if any use, after £40 and I'm in manchester

I go via the A701, so could pass by Bonnybridge on the way. Still need a windscreen so that would be good. All depends which car I'm in on the day!
