right finally go all my interior lights and switch gear changed to red from the standard naff green colour! I wanted to do this to update the interior and give it more of a mk4 golf look if you get me! think i have achieved it!

the majority of the switchgear was changed for that from a mk3 ibiza as they light up red as standard and as they share the same dash as the mk4 polo, found it the prfect opportunity to pick up bits and bobs from ebay/scrappies and the likes to complete the conversion.

the following items were changed altered

1. heater surround (filter swapped behind dials) still not happy with the brightness of this though as all three individual dials are lit up by one central bulb so is very faded at trhe edges of the dials. got a little plan for this though! will keep you updated

2. the rear screen heater switch (swapped for ibiza item)

3. electric window switches (swapped for ibiza item)

4. headlight control unit (swapped for ibiza item)

5. finally the dash clocks which i have wanted to do for some time now, but only just got round to it! i took apart my dash clocks and removed the green filters from the lcds and replaced them with some red ones, also i have removed the green filter from the top of the clocks!

the final stage left to do it the electric mirror control unit, which eil said he would give me a hand to solder new leds onto the circuit board

anyways enough of the chat here are some pics...
