R (1998) VW Polo L 1.4 8v; red, 100k miles.

The car is the basic trim level spec without a sunroof, there are a couple of ways you could look at this, I choose to see this as a good thing as there isnt any expensive fixes on the car and everything works or doesnt leak.

The car has most of the service history, however since owning the car I have service the car myself. This was just a case of changing the oil and filter, spark plugs, distributor cap, arm and air filter every service. Every two services I changed the plug leads. Generally I service the car every 5-6k miles. The car comes with two keys, original service and owners handbook, spare space saver wheel, jack and tools. The car also has the first aid kit that came with the car in the boot.

I am the third owner of the car and have owned it since April 2009 at 77k miles and have used it more or less every day from then. A lot of the mileage has been on the motorway.

The car has mot until April 23 2014 and tax until January 31 2014.

The was modified by myself . The modifications are as follows:

Car lowered on V-maxx coilovers

Borbet atiwee 15x7 wheels (or can put on steel wheels for lower price)

Recaro front seats (or can put standard seats in it for lower price)

6n2 all red rear lights

16v front and rear bumpers

6n2 gti front splitter

all (or most) of the original parts I still have.

Bad bits:

Mostly cosmetic as most 15+ year old cars have them.

Slight rust on the front of the drivers sill, though still under the paint.

Also rust under paint on rear passenger side arch.

Stone chips on front bumper.

Couple of dings here and there, 3 under wing mirror which were there when I got it

Just a few car park related dings

Dont let this put you off, it is generally a really nice car.

Want 1000 for it or 700 on steel wheels and standard seats.
