More weather related questions :( does anyone know common reasons why my boot would be leaking in the fantastic rainy weather, can I get a new boot seal? I heard someone say about smearing vasoline around the rear light seals to get a better seal? Anybody had this problem, and be able to shed some light on it or point me in the right direction?

I think it's the rear o/s light but I can't be certain I'm gonna put silicone sealant around the light, and check my rear washer hose

And get a hose pipe on it well in inside stupid weather

I had the same leak. Turned out to be the joint between the body panels that run down the both sides of the tail of the boot. Filled mine with flexible filler as the rear half of the body flexes when moving. I did all the seals and the Vaseline around the lights but it turned out to be the joints. Had to sit in the boot while my wife hosed the car down.

Ahh so the joints on the inside with the trim out, I will be having a look with the hose very soon!
