Hello People

I've just picked this Polo 6n2 GTi show car the other week , I've got it off a bloke from Malpas just outside of whitchurch

All the work was carried out by Craig Barnard in essex which he has done a great job !

Basically there's not much to do really just clean it up and just do a few jobs that need doing

Maybe wheel change or Air ride not quite sure yet

Here's some of the spec on it

STYLING

Full OEM colour Reflex Silver respray; colour coded front splitter; fully smoothed boot with rear wiper popper fitted; smoothed front rub strip; red GTI grille tape; gloss black stubby mirrors, roof, spoiler, B pillars; rolled and pulled arches; blue tinted 125mm mirror glass; Rolls Royce Ghost aerial cover on roof; bonnet bra in quilted red leather.

TUNING

OMP upper front strut brace in wrinkle finish; cam belt cover also in wrinkle finish red; bottle caps in red wrinkle finish; custom header tank bracket in black wrinkle finish; 4-2-1 Raceland manifold to fit with a 2.5-inch hidden decat pipe to single back box made by Pipecraft in stainless steel; K&N Typhoon cold air intake; Mikalor boost clamps; camo wrap tape; Performance chip and remap by AmD Essex; 148bhp with 121lb/ft torque.

CHASSIS

AP adjustable coilovers with custom made adjuster knobs; Black Diamond drilled and grooved brakes with fast road pads; braided brake lines; unknown Paramount 7×15-inch alloys painted candy red with custom VW inserts; Bridgestone Potenzas 165/45×15 tyres; 20mm front, 25mm rear spacers.

INTERIOR

Full re-trim by Concept Vehicle Trimmer in custom red Italian leather including, seats with quilted centres, sun visors, speedo dome, custom quilted door cards, parcel shelf & Mk.5 Golf headrests; full red carpet; gloss black centre console; carbon wrapped handbrake surround, centre trim, air vents, door handles, window switches, tweeters; black headlining including A, B, and C pillars all black; Audi TT centre console struts shortened and sprayed body colour.

AUDIO

2x 12-inch JBL subs, JBL Touring amplifier; Focal KRX3 6.5-inch front speakers, tweeters; Infinity Kappas 65.7i rear speakers; Vibe Black Ice 1200watt amp powering all 6 speakers; Pioneer BT3000 double DIN headunit with custom iPod tray; installed by AudioFile- Incar Essex; Dynamatted throughout

These arrived the other day , and then got the tyres fitted and I'm pleased how they look , just need to get the right fitment right , going to mod the fronts so they sit in more , just need some camber and more lows

Also going to see Andy at Low Standards to talk about to fit Airlift v2 management, so more updates soon

I've recently had my rear light surrounding in carbon fibre and fitted an new amp for the subs

Also the car is booked into LowStandards on the 17th of Feb , to fit Airlift V2 management with custom bags and lower front bags , Also with a boot build

So it will be all done before UD14!

Got the New alloys on ready to be sent to LowStandards , looking alot better with some camber on the front and rear

The Cars booked in on the 17th Feb to get the Airlift V2 Management fitted with a boot build , So it will be done before UD14 and I've been given a spot on the outside display on the sunday

Yeah love those stance wheels, seen them a few times. Will look great when decked

Some off you may have recognised at Ultimate dubs mine is now on Airlift V2 management, massive thanks to LowStandards for getting the car all ready for the show , I've got a few more ideas for the car , The interior is next a few changes may happen so have a look at the coming shows
