Shes been around a while now so i think everyone knows the car.

Every now and then il do a post where i go back over the cars history to explain how she became what she has, no thread full of "I'm quitting" or mishaps and cock ups which made me lose faith and gone are the parts of the build which made others bitch moan and hate.

Holy fuuuuuk, Seen it floating around the forum and at a few shows but well done mate. Truly great work and inspiring. Cant compare it!

That interior looks awesome mate!

Easy kiz the car looks sweet as ever bud but you have new rims ? They look sweet as bud . When we spoke at edition you said a new front bumper was on the cards for players ? . Have you keep your old rims bud ? . Keep up the good work mate the car always looks spot on every time I see it and as I said at edition I think the interior swap was for the better bud it looks as if it was built with it . Dave

5 stars from me!

What lowering springs you running? Should have just kept the old thread!

New wheels look amazing on it though!

Love the interior. Was the dash a nightmare to fit?

Been wanting to change the dash in mine because i hate the stock dash.

I reember this with the TT dash at that looked great too.

I wanna go for a golf mk2, 3 or a raddo eventually if its possible.

I remember seeing this as edition a while back looks immense. :)

Looks like air to me,

I'm wondering the same as K Dotty, how hard was the dash to fit?

Yes its on air ride converted coilover struts i believe

 uh oh

WOW such a sick car, love the bay! Whats the deal with the front end, are the headlights, grille and bumper off a vento or something?? Or have the indicators been moved and the wings welded up? Looks amazing all round :D

I heard you won an award for best engineered or something? This is amazing!

Haaa someone thought I was serious!

I'm still tempted to this day to have my roof wrapped black

A lot of work has went into that mate loved seeing at edition last year looks better on those wheels though

Nice work, I think some Rallye Square box arches would go really well with the side skirts.

I know easier said than done...

Alright kiz,

I've just bought a Breadvan shell minus dash, and was wondering just how difficult both of you dash swaps were?

Not a such the shaping but the updating of the internals and stuff such as vents and say nav etc? Any help would be sweet!

Mad props on the car too!

I suppose i should stick up an update!

2014 hasnt seen massive progress due to being inundated with my new job. I have however made a rotisserie! i am aiming to make the shell of the car very very tidy. There is no reason why the floorpan and inner archs can not have as good a finish as my quarter panels.

So here is the spit - i need to give it a paint as its still in bare metal. i designed it from 2 old engine stands on the CAD.

I plan on making the holy grail of G40 engines. i have held asperations for a while now omn a certain engine build and now its going to happen. my gearbox failure which prompted the engine overhaul is progressing and although not build i have my gearbox casings done, and a redesigned hydraulic clutch setup.

Need more info on this engine! you and your sly secretiveness :) and hydraulic clutch why? More hassle than it's worth surly?

Il put up the engine details when enough progress has been made. The car is as it's badged again, a G40. So I have returned it to supercharged.

The car already has a hydraulic clutch so it's not as much hassle as putting it back to cable! All I've done is use a cheaper more commonly available slave cylinder.

Kiz why have you thought about the strength of something structural to hold your car up and used CAD? You don't even need to do that to build a car

  • Author

You've lost me nick? I used CAD to make it to the correct dimensions so it would fit and turn in a small single car garage. It clears the floor and garage door literally by millimeters

Lol nevermind you missed my point entirely :)
