New here so thought id share the Polo Project, I had planned not to do anything to it but, i know ill mod it so might as well show the progress. I bought this as a daily to keep my Audi TT Quattro good/showcar/weekend car.

But back to the polo.

Cropped up for sale on Gumtree about an hour before leaving for work, a stones throw away from my house basically could have walked! (after driving over 200 miles the previous days looking at other cars) Called round and bought it, Had just gotten a full years mot that morning, and full years tax! (even though it is only £30 )

2001 1.4 TDI 5dr

Car has been lying up under a tree for the past few months so is covered in moss etc, most of the panels is as below

Came with a CD Changer so i fitted that today to the standard tape deck headunit Will tie me over until i fabricated the new dash for the TT and fit my new headunit into it, and swap the current unit out and into the polo.

Will be serviced and given a good clean this week. and few minor issues sorted, and come pay day looking into possibly coilovers and some wheels.

Never seen a TDI without colour coded strips? I thought they only did them in the SE models

Couldnt tell you dont even know what spec it is just Volkswagen Polo on the V5 no mention of trim level. All i know is its a 1.4TDI lol
