£1800

I've decided its time to sell my Clio 172 Cup. Since purchasing this car in November last year I’ve done a lot of work to get it back to a great standard, spending £875 in the past month.

Details:

97,800 miles (Will rise as I use it daily)

12 Months MOT (Done yesterday 04/11/13 - Flew through with no advisories)

Tax due at the end of the month, can negotiate on this

Refurbished gearbox about 5 months ago at local Renault Specialist costing £1100 (Mickleton Service Station)

New clutch when the gearbox was done

Powder coated Turini’s in Tungsten (3 months ago)

x4 Brand new Yokohama S-Drive tyres less than 500 miles done

New genuine Renault rear shocks

Handbrake cables - New rear calipers - Rear discs and pads - (Done yesterday 04/11/13 - cost £580)

Front discs and pads (2 months ago)

K-tec Racing Stealth exhaust (with middle silencer)

Pipercross panel filter

Fabia front splitter

Restored headlights

As you can see from the list above the majority of work has been the kind of work to make sure the car keeps going for years to come, general wear and tear work. The gearbox refurb wasn’t cheap but I wanted the car to stay on the roads because I know it has great potential.

Obviously there are going to be one or two bad points with a car this old but I don’t see them as major. As you would expect the body work has a few scratches here and there with a few little dings to the bonnet, I can’t see this work costing much to put right and with a good machine polish it will look amazing. Other than these small issues the car is in great condition, the interior is clean, the handling is tight and the engine pulls really well.

I'm asking £1900 for the car which is fair considering how much I've put back into the car...with x4 new tyres and the rear brakes being done this past month. A full years mot and the tax can be negotiated.
