My name is Allan and I have been into my VW's for a while now.

I am currently the owner of the new 1.2 TSI R-Line polo and have just bought the Mrs a little 03 plate 1.2 for work.

I have owned Mk4 GTi Golf and currently have a 2.0 16V Corrado that I do love loads, but may need to find a new home for soon.

I am hoping to learn as much from you guys regarding our cars as I have in the past with my others on other forums.

Yeah it was :) well, technically it was mine but I let her use it.

I let her trade that in for a car that will be hers and not my issue when she breaks it :p

we got it in and the one rear drum you didnt replace had burst :P

Yeah I ordered 2 from VW and they only gave me one. I meant to go and get the other sorted. When we checked the car, one cylinder had seized up but the other was ok at the time. Gutted that it burst though as those brake shoes were new too :(

The Mrs mentioned she had popped in the other day and apparently there is an issue with one of the front brakes too ? That I had no idea about :(

it cleaned up alright and we only had to replace the cylender

not sure about the front brakes, as its the other apprentice who works on it :)
