Went for a drive Saturday night and one of the rear wheel bearings shat itself!

Feeling the rear end swaying about at 60 is no fun!

Got it home and I seemed to have a bit of unwanted poke on one side:

No spares garages around here open on a Sunday so took a trip to GSF for a new one after work this evening.

Luckily it's just a 10 minute job, managed to hammer the old one off and get the new one fitted while it was still light.

Also got a couple Cree sidelight bulbs from t'ebay to see what the fuss was about.

Seems they come in a couple of sizes, some are far too big for the sidelights as you can see from the pic, the smaller ones slotted in nicely though.

They're certainly bright!

They produce a nice crisp white unlike most SMD sidelight bulbs I've tried.

I've decided to go I with montana to spray my van, I was just wondering if you clear coated after? Just want a decent lasting finish for the time I've put into it :p

I didn't put a clear coat over mine, it's just left with the matte/satin finish which is what I was going for.

The paint is holding up well tbh, it's a bit of a pain in the arse to scrub clean when I've been lazy and not washed it in a while but I imagine this would be the case with all matte paint.

Well, the polo went to her new home today as a couple of you will probably know, sad times!

Had lots of fun with it but it's now time for something new to waste all my money on.
