Well I didnt plan this one, the Polo bug has got me again :o

Featured Replies

To cut a long story short, i have owned a fair few Polo's , used to be an active member on here - attended most show's, best polo I had was the one in my avatar named MR DUB, as it had the reg M222 DUB.
I got my self a 9n3 as a run about about a year and half ago, but the modding bug didnt kick in, and I just used it oem then sold it on...

However something strange has happened, after owning all sorts of other cars in between times, I have recently set up a car forecourt, and I got a 1998 1.4 L with 1 lady owner, full service history come in, with an astonishing 45k on the clock, I had a silly little gamble in my head that if it passed its MOT with flying colour's I would keep it and project it again, well it happend! I'm really chuffed with it, in a really strange way, I think is cause it was my first car a 6n2, then I got the 6n and picked up an on going project which I loved and to this day regret ever swapping for a Glanza V Turbo!!!

Anyway, pics to follow but shes a nice deep red, in total OEM spec with 5 doors !
Drives like new and just feels a little bit special???

Project thread to follow, and ps grungeisdead HI!! if your still active dude :P

Ah right, thanks guys

The 6ns are such good cars there seems to be a lot more 6ns appearing recently. I suppose because they are dirt cheap to buy. I picked up a p plate 2 owner car with 50k on the clock last year for 600.

I have properly fell in love with this, seriously. I have had some pretty nice car's, and yet sitting in this car brings back my early driving days & puts a big smile on my face, treated it to a new battery today, and its having new discs, pads, rear brake shoes, brake cylinder and cambelt next tuesday, after that the car will be 100% then the modding can begin :)
