Hi all, thought I best introduce myself, my names jack, I'm 24 and from North Yorkshire!!!

I own a mk2f breaddy, which has been sat on my poor mothers drive for a while, whilst I decide what route to go down, in terms of what engine to out in her, and now I'm also picking up, what I think, is a white 6n2 on Sunday, to be my new daily hack

Made the mistake of buying a 106 as my daily, and thoroughly enjoyed destroying it, gearbox, clutch are dead now, so I thought it was about time I went back German!

White 6n2s are lovely.

I'm presuming it's a 6n2.. It's an 'x' reg, but I won't be able to get a pic of it until I pick it up early Sunday evening.. Can't wait, missed having a dub!!

So I tried to pick my new polo this aft, but after a mix up with my insurance, I'm now not going to be insured till tomorrow, is another day it will have to wait! :(.. But here's a sneaky pic of what she looks like

It is the 1.4 mate yes, not keen on the alloys tho, but they will do for now.. Not had chance to get better pics but I should get some tomorrow.. Few little problems with it, but nothing I can't sort out.. Very happy with my purchase so far!!

Good to hear, I was dissapointed with my purchase bought it and spend about £700 fixing it and still gotta do a couple of things.. Life lesson learnt - never buying a car again without a mechanic having a look at it first. And thought so all the polos look so nice apart from mine haha coz its a 1 liter it has no sunroof no fog lights no alloys its so standard :(

My other polo is a 1 litre but I love it!!.. I've been pretty lucky with most of the cars I've bought, this polo needs the drivers window sorted as it doesn't go up or down, and the abs light is on, borrowed a fault code reader so going to check that tomorrow.. But overall very impressed, the paintwork is just absolutely brilliant.. I can see myself being smitten with this little beauty!! Haha

oh god abs was a nightmare for me I had 3 replaced and an additional cable. and haha good luck fixing the stuff, I only need egr valve left that I am aware off but that is nearly impossible to find for a 1.0 :(

Cheers mate, just out of curiosity, what was it you had to change for the abs, was it the ring sensors?.. And roughly how couch did it cost?

Cheers mate, good loouck sourcing your parts, have you tried euro car parts, I've used them a couple of times and their fantastic!

i had replaced both front abs sensors and a rear left abs sensor. the rear abs sensors are ring shaped yes and umm the cable that connects to the abs sensors i did not have, couldnt find it anywhere so got garage to get me it that was £54 + i paid £50 for all abs sensors + £60 labour because my brother didnt have the tools to do it. Thanks, I have tried everything there is a couple of places where I can get it but new ones cost £190... I'm not willing to pay that thats insane. Trying to find a used one its so hard.

So, been really lazy recently, but finally got pics of the polo after a good wash.. Please excuse the alloys, as they are horrendous!
