White Polo 6R

Featured Replies

Got the car bog standard a couple of months ago. Since then I haven't done much apart from:

-Wind Deflectors

-Pressed Plates

-Made my whole bootbuild from scratch which includes, 2xGround Zero 12" subs, b2 audio components, spl dynamics 1500d amp, and spl dynamics 150.2 amp with a lot of sound deadening!

-JVC headunit

-De-wipered

I currently have Scirocco front seats sitting in my garage to get fitted (have the rears too if anyone is interested) and I have bbs rx2's but have changed my mind on them so doubt I will be refurbing them to go on the car.

Cars so nice, i wouldn't be changing too much if it was mine.. Boot build looks immaculate.. How much did you pay for the car?

Cheers matey :) still got to make the sides for the bootbuild, the good thing is the creases have slowly started to come out the leather now. The car was £6900, got it when they were selling them mega cheap to make space for all the 63 plates

Thought I'd do a mini write up of the bootbuild.

Basically I ran all the cables first before I started the build.

Size of cable and fuse compared to the rest of the wiring at the battery lol!

What the boot looked like before:

Carpet out:

Used the carpet as a template for the base:

Finished base plate, this is where my amps and cable will be housed:

Started making the supports for the top floor:

Placed an old scrap bit of mdf on the supports just to make sure I had enough room between them before I made the top floor:

All checked out so I then made the floor:

Stapled the leather on to floor and box:
