Hi all, new to the site. Recently bought my first polo. A 6n2 GTI with 62k on the clock and has receipts for a reconditioned gearbox 😃. It had been stood but once I'd changed the discs + pads and cleaned the moss out of the window seals it's been great! Past cars, mk 2 golf GTI, Audi coupe and a couple of BM's. Looking to squeeze a bit more power out of the polo next year as it's not quite nippy enough imo but happy with mpg lol. Will put some pics up. Only let down is original wheels are corroded and don't know wether to refurb or go after market??

Ayup Marshall, how's the weather in Mansfield? Lol. Been looking into refurbing the original rx2 wheels and it's quite expensive! Wouldn't mind going for some 16's that look similar to standard look as I'm not going to lower the car due to the state of the roads where I live! what u driving at the mo?
