Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker dies in California car crash

Featured Replies

US actor Paul Walker, who starred in the Fast & Furious series of action films, has been killed in a car crash in California.

Walker, 40, was a passenger in a Porsche sports car driven by a friend - who also died - when it crashed north of Los Angeles.

Walker was said to be attending a charity event at the time.

He starred in all but one of the films in the Fast & Furious franchise, the sixth of which opened in May.

Walker also starred in the suspense drama Hours, a movie that is set for release this month.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's department said the crash happened in the community of Valencia.

I was gutted to hear about this! such a shame when a car guy passes, apparently he was a really nice and genuine guy too.

RIP.

He was a car nut and had a real enthusiasm for those films, a big shame, especially when it wasn't his fault too.. RIP

Actually gutting, I know people die every day, and RIP to his friend who was driving too. But them films were awesome, absolutely love all of them and may well be some of the reasoning behind people being into modified cars etc

That's sad. Going to watch F&F6 with the sub-woofer on full, and fit a UV tube under the sofa.

RIP Real Shame! Sad to see Both Paul Walker and Roger Rodas (Driver who was also a Race car driver with Paul) Both die in this, especially at a charity event they were hosting. Really got to me today hearing this! Paul was a real inspiration to me in both is Real life and Part in Fast & Furious, gave me a boost to get me to were i am today! Thoughts are with both familes :(

Really not worth the effort

I know its the done thing when someone dies for everyone to start praising them, but the f&f amazing films? come on

I love them, over the top yeah but so what haha

I can't bare to watch them, they actually make me feel dumber after watching them

I think I just like films too much to be able to appreciate such piss poor film making on that sort of level. I can do over the top, I like lots of over the top films. its the shit scripts/plots/acting/continuity that really puts me off them.

Ah well, very successful and liked by many other people. In their opinion of course !

But as you say, a lot of others also think they're shite

Yeah its all personal opinion at the end of the day, one man's gone off milk is another man's yoghurt

Here's one for you to watch
