Yes, and all of the people that have been looking for one for years will know where to find one for sale.

Half a kit, cam is about fucked and didn't these also have a habit of snapping belts due to a design fault?

Not much chance of a bargain Eric, I think the starting price is about right for what's there and the condition its in

Not snapping belts but shredding the shit out of them! They have to be set up 100% perfectly to stop the charger flexing on the bracket under full throttle, rotating the pulley axis and killing the belt. I was told it was due to manufacturing faults with the endplates on the charger. Can be solved with washers on the bottom charger mount but need to be 100% exact.

Seems to be a fair bit missing too? Charger pulley, tensioner/pulley and the arm thing with the pulley on to stop belt slap?

Can't see it being cheap to have a one off pulley made and would it be safe to weld something like a cam? Its not a load bearing part of it but could the heat from welding it not risk weakening it?

Also missing the charger shaft and bearing, looking at mine last night the original one wouldn't fit that end plate so would possibly need a custom one making?

that plate i would say is NOT original.

it is not the same as my old kit and i know he only ever made 9. there was a guy however who was attempting to make a knock off a couple of years back - a few people will remember him selling fake PSD toothed belt kits - where he said he had bought and hoarded loads of sets..... bollox!

he was building an eaton g40 mk1 polo.

he was kicked off this forum for it.

I'm not saying this because i want it- i dont, but be prepared to spend a fortune sorting out a pulley, and as the bearing part is wrong - machining and welding is required to make this work as it was designed.

Juan was his user namer, think he was kicked off club G40 too for it too. He even went so far as to engrave the pulleys with psd

You are indeed correct.

Closed - links still there for anyone interested. Obviously take note of said comments though..
