Good points:

When I bought this car i'm not going to lie it was a heap, so many shortcuts taken, however over the last 12 months this car has been basically rebuilt from the ground upwards, rectifying all the previous owner had bodged, including the following:

-Full AP racing coilovers

-New wishbones & bushes all round

-New steering rack bushes

-New thermostat

-Genuine Compomotive MO's 16 x 7's with Yokohama S-drives (still loads of tread)

-Replaced subframe

-New brakes all round (discs, pads, rear drums, shoes, cylinders)

-2 new handbrake cables

-New standard exhaust from the manifold

-Alpine Double din headunit

-Recent full service

-Golf front end

-US spec boot tub

This car has pretty much zero rust on the shell, which is rare for a mk2 let alone a Jetta. Will picture the piece of rust this week (about the size of a 50p last time I checked)

It has been an absolute pleasure owning this car, and I can guarantee the buyer would not be disappointed with it, it gets a lot of attention as it's different, but it's also rather subtle as well.

Comes with all the service history and MOT's I was given, quite a few gaps, but I have all the receipts from all the work I have done on it from a very reputable garage (OBD Works, please check out his work! https://www.facebook.com/obdworks?fref=ts)

Bad points:

Currently the engine does work, but cylinders 1 and 4 are running at low pressure. Been told it would need the head off for closer inspection just to find out the problem. The engine has never been perfect, plus I never received any recent service history with it. Only before the previous owner before me.

Dent in drivers side wing

Crack in windscreen (but in the corner, passes MOT's just quite irritating!

Bodywork isn't perfect, few dents here and there. Should be machine polished before sale.

Price: £1000 and bring your own wheels or £1450 with. Will consider a swap for a diesel perfect for motorway mileage (mk4 TDI130 etc...)

I know the price seems very high for a car with an engine that needs a bit of work, but i'm in no rush at all. I've genuinely loved owning this car and no expense has been spared. The only reason i'm selling is that I can justify doing 500 miles a week in this, as it deserves much better.
