New from Norwich

Featured Replies

Hi guys, just bought a 1.0 h reg polo breadvan. Got it for a decent price as the petrol tank needs replacing and it's a little tatty around the edges. Few bits of welding to get it solid and sort the petrol tank are on my immediate to do list, still has mot on it until the middle of June so I hope to get it ready over the next couple of months so I can have a few months of motoring until I need to renew that.

I removed the fuel tank today and it's seen better days, leaking away. Hopefully a replacement will turn up locally so I can get it running ASAP!

Indeed welcome aboard!

I'm seen around Bury from time to time when I'm visiting, set up a meet a couple years back to meet people in the area went well. :)

Hello mate, yes I'm on dubgeneration, gone through quite a few mk2 golfs over the last few years, still got one on the go now. Just fancied something to play with I guess, for the price I paid for the polo seemed like a great buy. I'm still feeling fairly happy with it, planning on getting a little welding sorted tomorrow while keeping on the hunt for a new tank. Yup I picked this up from wymondham, was real luck for me, I could have pushed it to my unit from where I bought it from!

Welcome,

I got a brand new tank off eBay last year, £32 posted iirc.
