Do you have to remove the hole arb and slide them on from the end to fit them as the bog standard ones you don't ?

I bought them for my Polo g40 ages ago but i believe they fit any VW polo MK1/2/2f ARB..
The ARB mounts need to be taken off and the new ones can be slipped onto the arb as they slit in them

That's what I was worried about as I have fitted standard ones before and they come with the slit but the ones for sale I could not see the slit in them ..
