Hi thought I would say hello just got a 6n all help greatly appreciate she is a bit battered started working on it all ready de badged grill removed nasty bump strips in process of deleting rear wiper engine is leaking oil haven't had a proper look under the bonnet yet (she is still working if you know what I mean) oh it is a 1.4 16v any common probs?

Gearbox, rust, electrics are the main issues, 16v open aire are quite rare.

Over in Desborough mate had a good look at her over the last couple of days she was Leaking oil from rocker cover turns out you can't get a new gasket as fixed to cover so put sealant around and hope for the best bad news is it well roten underneath so going to need a fair bit of welding!!!

That's unusual to have so much rust on a 6n. Has it lived by the sea at some point.
