I have been told my fuel pump has gone and I have been told its it 140 pound for the pump and then 3 hours labour I was just wondering how hard it is to change is that the normal price from one and are they hard to fit the man at the garage said I am looking at about 300 pound for him to do it surely that's to expensive and surly I could do it

no worries, when looking for parts mk3 can sometimes refer to the mk2f so always check its 6n 95 onwards. these cars are chap to fix if your willing to get your hands dirty, garages will always wack a high price on any work

When I turn. My incar heating on it only blows coos air out do you know what's wrong mate

don't know myself but had a quick dig about and found this responce to the same question online.

"I had this problem this weekend with my Polo (although its a slightly older model H reg) But i removed the thermostat - dropped it into a cup of boiling water and it didn't open - So i bought a new one, replaced it and after 5 minutes of the car being idle war air came out of the heater. I noticed the problem first off though not from the cool air coming from the windscreen vents, but from an unusually hight coolant temperature. Cost me £7 for a new thermostat and took an hour to put right. Hope this helps."
